Spiced Whipped Cream

Did someone ask for a spiced cloud? Then this whipped topping is all you need. A perfectly delicious addition to our Carrot Halwa or Agate Candy & Saffron ice creams, it can also add a richness to our fruity and floral Hibiscus Chaat Masala sorbet. Want to make it vegan?  Substitute coconut cream for the heavy cream.  

Yields 1.5 - 2 cups of whipped cream.

Ingredients:  

  •  1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp. sugar 

  • 1 teaspoon ground spice (we recommend cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg or another warm spice)

  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, pour in cream and whip until soft peaks form. This can be done using an electric mixer or by hand. Sprinkle sugar, salt and ground spice on top and whip for 30 more seconds. Add a few dollops to a scoop of ice cream!
